Out of Production! Out of Production! Out of Production!
The first part shows the master tune for both Oscillators and the common Octave switch.
A Glide controller and a sync switch for the Osc. 1 with Osc. 2. This will offer you the extensive modulation capabilities of the oscillator 2 by various sources.
This generates the original vintage analog sync sounds.
In this section, the so-called range controller is the the 2nd oscillator may be detuned against the first. In the 0 position a unison harmony is possible and can be up to 2 octaves transposed high.
In addition, yet integrated the two waveform switch. In the first oscillator sawtooth and square are possible and Osc. 2 with sawtooth and 20% pulse. The course independently modulated in its pulse width (PWM) can be.
The classic LFO covers a very wide frequency range . This extends into a single wave of several minutes up to the audio range. It delivers the classic waveforms : triangle, square and Sample and Hold.
The LFO frequency is divided still by a range switch which enables it to make specific frequency settings .
A red LED for displaying the signal component must be included here as well.
This unit includes the first internal modulation VCA. Thus, it is e.g. possible with a MIDI keyboard, computer, etc., the intensity of the LFO (LFO-wheel) on the pitch (vibrato), while the Osc1 to regulate pulse-width modulation.
Both modulations can be adjusted by using the 2 knobs (FM oscillators, osc.1 PWM). Even the intervention of the Amp Envelope is possible here.
The mixer unit consists of two volume controller for sub-basses, two controller for the two oscillators and a knob for the selection by the slide switch audio source.
Here White, Pink Noise and Ring Modulation are available.
A special feature here is to overload the signals to mention that give its unique sound character with a controller position from 3 O`clock.
It had to be a classic -24 dB lowpass!
Special features are here
A successful combination of internal opportunities.
The 3 envelopes...
All 3 envelopes have the same characteristics. First, they are very quick about 1 ms to 10 sec and many parameters on internal control voltages modulated.
In addition, all envelopes have a selector switch which they transformed from the normal envelope mode in an LFO mode up to a Loop LFO which is started with a single keystroke.
All envelopes includes a red LED to indicate the starting value. Finally, you can put all into a linear state via switch . It reminds the envelopes of digital synthesizers of the 80's.
The Amp Envelope has the classic controller attack to release. It acts directly on the VCA according to the slide switch for the AMP mode is set.
As a special feature here is modulating the decay control on different controllers like modulation wheel and CV 4. Another strong feature is the modulation of Envelope amount over Velocity.
This makes it possible to control with one touch the Output volume.
Finaly the AMP envelope will also modulate the Osc. 1 + 2 Fm and Osc. 1 PWM.
The modulation envelope is in contrast to the other two envelopes. It includes only one attack and decay controller.
The expo-linear switch acting on all 3 envelopes at the same time. As a special feature, the trigger selection will start the modulation envelope with the key gate or sync to the LFO.
A switch for selecting between a normal envelope amount output or amount modulation by the modulation wheel.
The modulation envelope amount unit consists of 4 small knobs.
They can modulate the two oscillators FM, the filter and modulation of Osc 2 pulse width independently.
Through this combination a lot of weird sounds are possible. For example the exotic Sync modulation of Osc 2 etc.
The lower filter envelope goes directly to the filter cutoff and can be controlled using the Velocity controller for envelope amount control.
As the name suggests:
Output volume for headphones and output.
Here the back of MOODULATOR Synth ...
The back side has all the important function and standards (1V/O, +5V Gate) for the communication with the outside world.
Starting with the 2 Midi connectors, a symmetrical XLR jack combination up to the external filter input for audio and control voltage.
Of course the MOODULATOR can act as a MIDI interface for other synthesizers to.
It was deliberately set to 6.3mm stereo jack / XLR purpose of quality and suitability for the studio!
